The Story Behind our Pickled Beetroot & Onion:

What makes Pekel’s Pickled Beetroot & Onion different? The natural sweetness of the beetroot, balanced with the tang of the onions, a delicious blend of herbs, garlic and their signature brine, make this newly launched pickle an instant hit.

Ingredients: Beetroot, white onion, water, vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic and herbs

Storage Instructions: Refrigerate. Use within 3 weeks of opening.

Handmade in Cape Town in small batches. Pekel started out in 2019 as a challenge to make pickled Jalapeños. After much experimenting they knew they had hit gold. Now with nine products, Pekel has a expanded to include a range of even more delicious, handmade pickles and seasonings.
