The Story Behind Our Pickled Products:
Sandy Goldberg’s family are passionate about pickled jalapeños but couldn’t find a brand that they loved. Always up for a challenge, Sandy started experimenting. After much testing, tweaking and tasting they knew Sandy had hit hot gold.
Now with over 5 products, Pekel has expanded to include a range of even more delicious, handmade, homemade pickled products.
The Story Behind Our Name:
Pekel:
- parcel, little package
- to send a pekel: to send food and gifts (for a holiday or to relatives overseas)
Our entire range is preservative and colourant free, and mostly sugar free. All are suitable for vegans.
